Department of West Virginia Quarterly Meeting
The Department Quarterly meeting will be 1000 hours 14 January 2012, at the WV State Veterans Nursing Facility in Clarksburg, WV (next to the VA Hospital). The Department Staff Officers meeting will begin at 0930. The meeting will be followed by a West Virginia Pack growl. |

Marine Corps League Mid-Winter National Staff Conference
Mid-Winter National Staff Conference will be held 16, 17, and 18 February 2012, at the Tysons Corner
Marriott, 8028 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA. The room rate is $ 95 per night, single or double. Room rates are $ 89 if you pay in advance. Please make your room reservation directly with the Tysons Corner Marriott no later than 20 January 2012, at (703) 734-3200. Be sure to tell them you are with the Marine Corps League.

2011 Department of West Virginia
Professional Development Leadership
and Officer Training
The Department has scheduled one day Professional Development Leadership and Officer Training classes on Saturday, TBA April 2011 at TBA at the TBA, WV. This training is required to comply with the Department Bylaws. All current and prospective Department and Detachment officers are expected to attend. The information provided will enable members to have a better working knowledge of the rules and regulations of the League. Casual attire may be worn and there will be a working lunch. The training session should be completed by 1500 hours. We will be using the Professional Development Program disk's power point presentation. |

2012 Department of West Virginia Annual Convention
The 2012 MCL Department of West Virginia State Convention will be held 11 and 12 May 2012 and will be hosted by the Herbert J. Thomas Memorial Detachment 947 in Charleston, WV at the Charleston Marriott. Rooms reservations: 304-353-3600. Price: $99 per night plus room tax.
The Convention Banquetis a choice of chicken or beef and includes salad, rolls, potato or rice, vegetables, desert & beverage. Cost of the banquet is $ 30.50 per person. Reservation for the banquet is due by 30 April 2012. |
